The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) has been consulting on new structures for the NHS in Wales.

The One Wales document (PDF download) - the joint Welsh Labour and Plaid Cymru plan for Government - commits the Welsh Assembly Government to bring an end to the internal market in order to improve services for patients. Phase I of the process ended on 25 June 2008.
