Service examples
We need your examples of effective physiotherapy practice in action. We are currently developing a mechanism and a process for identifying such services and collecting information about them. Please be involved in creating our online repository.
CSP staff and members require access to examples of physiotherapy services for different reasons. The type and nature of these requirements vary. For example:
- managers of physiotherapists and service leads require tips and learning from current physiotherapy services to develop their services
- senior members / CSP staff include service information to illustrate the profession’s engagement with government initiatives in a keynote speech or publication
- members are now required to articulate detailed clinical and cost-effectiveness information about a specific service to present to commissioners
The challenge is to create such a system that contains valid and reliable information; valid in that services are what they say they are, reliable so that the information provided by a member / staff can be retrieved by another and used with confidence in a relevant situation.
