Take the lead on the strategic direction of physiotherapy professional practice

The Society is looking for a suitably qualified individual to lead on the strategic direction of physiotherapy professional practice, service delivery, research, and learning and development.

In this key role you will provide strategic direction for all practice and development policies and activities within the CSP, leading and managing a team of experienced managers across a large function. You will enable your team to play a pivotal role in connecting the academic, research and professional activities of the Society in national and international arenas, and will represent the interests of physiotherapy learning and development, practice and research at national level. As a member of the senior management team, you will also play an active role in the Society's strategic development and corporate planning.

You will be a chartered physiotherapist, ideally with a post-graduate qualification to at least masters level, and will have substantial experience as a practitioner. As an experienced manager of a department, you will have proven leadership skills, as well as excellent strategic planning, communication, critical analysis and research skills. Experience within the higher education sector would be an advantage.

The salary range for this post is £57,285 - £65,526 pa, plus benefits including final salary pension scheme.
