Letters of Good Standing
Full members of the CSP can request letters of Good Standing. Final year students and new graduates can also request Letters of Eligibility.
Letters of good-standing are available to full members of the CSP. Before a Letter of Goodstanding can be issued by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy the following information must be sent to the CSP, in writing and signed by the member, marked 'Private & Confidential' to: Secretarial Admin Officer, CEO, CSP, 14 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4ED (Tel no: 020 7306 6159):
- Full member's full name as on CSP Files
- Any other/previous name member may have had
- Full member's membership number
- Why the letter is required
- The full member must state whether they have had any complaints or matters of a disciplinary nature referred to the CSP
- Current correspondence address
- The full member also needs to ensure their membership subscription is fully paid up (or if the member is a non-practicing, then this must be stated)
- A Cheque or Postal Order for £10 made payble to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (please indicate in your letter that you have enclosed this payment)
- Email, fax or telephone requests are not suitable.
- There is a charge of £10 towards admin costs, which is payable to the CSP in the form of a cheque or postal order (made payable to The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy), for the issuing of all Letters of Goodstanding, and once approved this is sent to the member's correspondence address only.
- The Society is unable to send the Letter of Goodstanding to a third party.
