Using our logos

CSP members can login to see the full version of this page.

When can you use the CSP logo and which one can you use? Use the Q and A below to find out more.

There are two logos in regular use by the CSP:
  1. the oval, traditional 'Chartered Society of Physiotherapy' logo, often referred to as the 'lozenge' logo
  2. and the square, blue and yellow logo with the letters 'CSP' (see top left)

Who can use the CSP logo?

Different rules apply to each logo.

What logo can CSP members use?

CSP full members can only use the lozenge logo.

What logo is not for CSP members general use?

The CSP's square 'corporate' logo - as used in the top left hand corner of this website. Use of the CSP’s corporate logo implies direct endorsement by the CSP.

The square logo is not for members' use except in exceptional, agreed collaborations, almost exclusively with other organisations, not individuals (for example, the CSP and COT, or CSP and NHS, or CSP and an agreed CIOG group).

As an example, if you are a member of UNISON you wouldn’t expect to use the UNISON logo on your personal letterhead. Or if you belong to a member organisation - say the AA - it does not entitle you to copy and use the AA logo on your personal business card, because you could be misconstrued as masquerading as the AA or an agent of the AA.

Where are CSP members allowed to use the members' logo?

It is freely available for members' use on business cards, websites, shopfronts, letterheads, etc.

It is their logo to use, providing they are paid up, qualified members (clearly this excludes students - who have their own badge - and assistants).

How can CSP members get a copy of the members' logo?

You can download a copy of the lozenge logo on this page (as a .jpg file) - make sure you are logged in.
