Accessibility

Site map

You can access a full list of the pages on our site by using the site map.

Style

The site uses style sheets to control font colours and sizes. You can override the standard settings through your web browser preferences.

Navigation

There are two 'hidden' shortcuts at the very start of each page that can take the user straight to the main navigation area and to the main content area.

Users can access all parts of the site whether they are using a screen reader, a text browser, or a keyboard without a mouse.

Access keys

You can jump directly to many sections of the site using access keys. By pressing the ALT key in combination with an access key, then pressing the RETURN key, you can automatically select the following pages:

  • Alt + 1: Tabbed or top navigation area
  • Alt + 2: Left navigation area
  • Alt + 3: Main content
  • Alt + 4: Home
  • Alt + 5: Accessibility
  • Alt + 6: Contact CSP
  • Alt + 7: Site help
  • Alt + 8: Site map

(Mac users should press the CONTROL key plus the access key without pressing the RETURN key).

PDFs and other downloadable documents

We have chosen to publish most of our documents as PDF files. Wherever practical, we have also created an HTML version of each document for ease of access.

Where we don't offer an HTML alternative version of a PDF file, you can try Adobe's online PDF converter which attempts to reproduce the content of submitted PDFs into either a text or HTML file.

For information on the accessibility of PDF files, please visit the Access Adobe website.

For general help with downloading and opening files, see the downloads section of our help page.

Alternative versions of our printed documents

To order our publications in alternative formats, please contact our enquiry handling unit at enquiries@csp.org.uk or on 020 7306 6666.
